Part Time position 0-16hrs per week

The Rhode Island Brew Bus LLC provides bus brewery tours around the state of Rhode Island. We take pride in educating our guests about beer while also showing them a great time.

 

Job Description: The Rhode Island Brew Bus provides tours throughout RI and parts of CT focusing on craft beer and local spirits. As a tour guide on the bus you will be responsible for keeping guests entertained while also maintaining order and providing exceptional service. Our tour guides have great personalities and love to work with other people and speak in front of people. Tour guides are responsible for having knowledge of the local breweries as well as the brewing process. Availability on Friday afternoons and weekends is a must.

 

Responsibilities include

• Knowledge of all local breweries

• Ability to speak in front of groups of 13+

• Keeping track of time and keeping a schedule

• Wrap glassware

• Distribute water/snacks to guests

• Work with driver to coordinate departures

• Facilitate a game of trivia while keeping score

• Ability to control a crowd of guests

• Communicate with management and breweries

• Interacting with guests while at breweries

• Make merchandise sales on bus.

 

Requirements

• Available to work Friday afternoons and weekends including some holiday weekends.

• Ability to follow a schedule

• Ability to read and write

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 40lbs

• Strong understanding of brewing

• Strong understanding of local breweries

 

Preferred

• College Degree

• Public Speaking Experience

• Brewery/brewing Experience

Tour Bus Driver

Part Time position 0-16hrs per week

The Rhode Island Brew Bus LLC provides bus brewery tours around the state of Rhode Island. We take pride in educating our guests about beer while also showing them a great time.

 

Responsibilities include.

• Driving guests to each destination in a safe, professional manor.

• Checking bus for safety before each tour.

• Checking guests in

• Keeping track of time while on the tour

• Making sure guests can enter and exit bus safely.

• Conducting Trivia while working as a guide on bus

• Knowledge of craft beer and the brewing process.

• Communication with the local breweries.

• Monitoring guests on and off bus making sure everyone is safe.

• Cleaning up bus after each tour.

• Stocking bus with all required materials to run tour.

This is a weekend job and applicants must be available on weekends.

 

Qualifications.

• Must have a License with clean record and have or be willing to get Chauffeurs license.

• Experience driving larger vehicles. (Passenger vehicles preferred).

• Proper DOT medical exams/driver paperwork from state if hired.  

• Clean DMV and Criminal Background checks.

• Must be 21+

• Drivers must comply with all Federal and State driving laws.

Preferred qualifications

• 1+ year experience driving large passenger vehicles.

• Craft beer knowledge.

• Strong knowledge of Rhode Island Roads and brewery locations.

• Outgoing personality who can also speak in front of 15+ people.

• Time management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, preferred.
